Equipment: Hardware Kodak easyshare M575

The Kodak easy share m575 is my current point an shoot camera for still shots. It takes crystal clear 14 megapixel shots, and it also records video at 720p, and as with all Kodaks, in a .mov file format.

I get the only con I have with this camera out of the way right now, the battery life. There has to be a better way to make these batteries last longer. Now, I will say this batter last much longer than the one in my last camera.

I received this camera this Christmas as a gift, and I’ve loved it since I got it. The Picture quality, 14megapixel, is just great. There is a 5x optical zoom; 28 mm wide-angle lens, and a nice 3inch view screen. I could go on about technical details, but, I won’t bore you.

I’m going to be using this camera to get some shots when we start filming our shows. These will be for when I start posting behind the scenes production shots. I’m also started tinkering with the idea of this as my on the go video blogger.

One of the best accessories I have for this camera is my  2GB Eye-fi card. When I’m at home and I get a few shots taken care of, I just upload my pics from the camera to the pc over the wireless network at home or to an online  pic hosting site. I picked this up at Circuit City a during their last days being open.
